On to the good stuff next......

OMG I love the Elizabeth Gittens...those colors would fit so well in my house too!
They really are beautiful. The porcelain is paper thin : almost translucent.
Elizabeth Gittens is a charming old(ish) lady (late 60's at a guess).
She produces very limited editions and wraps everything in person for you.
Must call in later this year and see what she's been up to lately.

Does she have a website or a way for people to purchase her wares?
I doubt if she has a website : she's not that big.
She works as part of a consortium of artists etc. who are based in Cardiff Bay. It is possible that there's a website that covers the whole consortium.
Next time I'm down in the Bay Area I'll call in and find out. I want to see what else is on offer anyway.
There's another guy based there (I've temporarily forgotten his name) who does some wonderful stuff in sort of "lapis lazuli" blue and I'd like to see what he's been up to lately.
I'll post a photo of one or two of his pieces when I get the chance.
Regards,
M.
God those are gorgeous.
Aren't they just Eva ? There are some very talented people working in Wales these days and Cardiff has become something of a magnet for the arts (all kinds) in recent years.
Which is good news for me. All we need now is a really good venue for rock bands : the ones we have at the moment are a bit too sterile for my tastes.

I collect paper thin porcelain cups and am very attracted to the Gittens. Your house must be amazing with all these art pieces.
Hi Tate,
Glad you like them too.
No - my house isn't amazing : I think I would describe it as a humble but bijou residence !
