SteamyDreamer Interviews Merlin

According to the rules I only have to answer 5 of these questions. I have, however, decided to answer all 6 although readers are advised not to take the final answer entirely seriously (even though it may well be the truth).

1. What is the most daring thing you have ever done?

I have climbed Snowdon (the highest mountain in Wales) twice via the "Crib Goch" route both times. This is known as the challenging (or insane) way to ascend Snowdon.

The Crib Goch is an arete (basically a knife edge) about a kilometre long with an 800 foot drop on both sides. If you check this on the internet you will notice the warnings not to even think about this in bad weather unless you are professional, confident and/or barking mad.

Draw your own conclusions.

2. What is your favorite time of the day? Why?

Sunrise when I've been up all night. It feels like having the whole world to yourself and if I've been up all night I'm usually in a very good mood.

3. What is your single most favorite possession (kids, men and pets don't count)?

A sideboard that was a wedding present for my great grandparents. I rescued it from my grandmother's house in Yorkshire nearly 20 years ago ; I remember it from when I was 3 or 4 years old.

As far as I can work out it's now about 110 years old. I should have it valued.

4. If you were having your final meal, what would it consist of?

It's not so much what as where. I'd want the Couscous Royale in the Lebanese Cafe in Chateau Rouge, Paris. If it was my last meal I'd wash it down with a bottle of Claret.

5. What's your favorite room in your house? Why?

My bedroom. It's a large bedroom by British standards and it's decorated in my own "tastefully eccentric" style. If you can imagine a cross between a Library, a Museum and an Art Gallery with a bed in the middle somewhere you have the right idea.

I've had a lot of fun in there and it holds some very warm (and wet) memories.

6. What would you like to have an unlimited supply of?

Nubile virgins.

So now it can be your turn. Just follow these simple rules.
1. Leave me a comment on this post saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions

I'm willing to bet that no-one has the nerve to go for this.

Eva,

It'll be a pleasure. I'll email you the questions in a day or two and I promise (as Steamy promised me) that I won't ask anything too personal.

And I thought you already knew all that stuff about me. I don't try very hard to keep it secret!

M xx

PS Who told you about the "big boy" bit ? You've been reading Karen Scott's blog again havn't you ?
