The Scales Of Justice And A Little Irony

My horoscope for today courtesy of the delightful Tam Lin :

  • You could grow moonflowers in a toxic waste dump, Libra. You could lift the
  • spirits of a child who has been raised in grievous poverty. That's how much
  • regenerative power you possess right now. You might even be able to locate
  • underground water in a desert, or resurrect a dead dream, or alleviate half
  • of your deepest suffering. I'm not absolutely sure you could transform lead
  • into gold, but I do know that now is one of your best chances ever to pull
  • it off.

If only. Under the circumstances this has to be one of the funniest things I've read in ages.

Now doesn't mean in the next five minutes, you negative cunt. And the best power you have is the one you aren't aware of.

And if you want a real laugh I'll send you mine!

Now I meant to ask you before, which do you think is more important to Sir Alex, the CL, or the Prem?

Personally, I'd rather we won the prem, after all the CL is still just a cup competition.

OMG that fortune must have known I would be sending "the" package....

Karen,

I agree by the narrowest of margins.

But I think he'll be hoping that Liverpool can put Chelsea out of the CL (again).

I think I can manage a Liverpool v United final and lose but a Chelsea v United final would be hell.

Tam,

" And the best power you have is the one you aren't aware of".

That sounds very dark and mysterious.

Would you like to tell me more ? No, of course you wouldn't because then I'd be aware of what you're talking about!

Please email me yours. I could do with a laugh.

Steamy,

You're making me very, very nervous.

Stop it.

Hi Karen,

Phew ! Just got back from watching it in my local pub.

Thank God for Wayne Rooney ; it might just be enough.

(Now I want to see Chelsea get shafted tomorrow night).

All Good Things,

I was at the game last night Merlin, and the atmosphere was amazing. Although I believe there were a few Italians in Manchester that were trying to stir up trouble before the match. The Italian fans weren't let out after the match, until most of the United fans had gone home. Example of good policing, *cough*Roma*cough*.

Funnily enough, even when we went 2-1 down, I still believed that we'd win, or at the very least draw.

I've got a sore head this morning, as well as a sore throat!

Gutted about Evra missing the next match.

I think we can go to Milan and win, we haven't got a defence, so we'll have to do what we do best, and if they score 3, we score 4!

My dream of beating Chelsea 3-0 in the final is still on, if a little shaky, seeing as we don't have any defenders left!

Looking forward to the Chelsea / Liverpool match tonight, although I'll be on the train coming back from Milton Keynes, so will probably miss it!

Up the Devils!

Karen,

Yup - I agree. Attack ! I can never understand why United do anything else given the talent they've got in the front 5 or 6.

It pains me to see Rooney hanging around in midfield when we all know he's capable of doing what he did last night.

Milton Keynes ? Yeuch . Possibly the most horrible town in the UK (with the exception of Grimsby).
