A Present From "The Rose"
This landed in my email while I was on holiday.
L-R, Gennie-Rose, Merlin, Keith Bowley (RIP) circa 1984.
Someone's turning up the heat I think : we live in interesting times.

Heh, I was 17yo in 1984 and just graduating high school.
I'm betting you are the only one from the pic that hasn't changed much in looks. I guess that means you have a classic look eh?
Tate,
I have a bit less hair.
You'll find a photo of Gennie-Rose a few posts back (taken about 2 years ago). I was crazy about her back in 1984.
She's coming after me and I know it (but too late I fear).
Keith died about 8 years ago as a result of alcoholism (and in so doing probably saved my life).
Classic look ? Classic everything dude !!!
Hugs,
M.
Wow. We were looking at old pictures this weekend. I feel old now.

Why too late?
Maybe I'll name my heroine Gennie.
Ferfe,
Frightening isn't it ? And yet people are very kind ; they say I look "more distinguished" now. I think this is a veiled insult!
Eva,
My French-Algerian style guru is on my case again and she can be very persuasive.
Gennie eh ? Why not ?
What's the hero called ?
M.
1984 I had 2 kids age 1 and 4, had my masters, and ran a home health agency. Now who feels old?
Steamy,
I guess we both do.
I feel about as old as you because I am about as old as you - I don't know how old Ferfe is but I'm guessing in her early 80's ( and I'm hoping she doesn't read this or she'll kill me!)
Best Wishes,
M.
