In A White Room ...........
In the white room with black curtains near the station.
Blackroof country, no gold pavements, tired starlings.
Silver horses ran down moonbeams in your dark eyes.
Dawnlight smiles on you leaving, my contentment.
Ill wait in this place where the sun never shines;
Wait in this place where the shadows run from themselves.
Blackroof country, no gold pavements, tired starlings.
Silver horses ran down moonbeams in your dark eyes.
Dawnlight smiles on you leaving, my contentment.
Ill wait in this place where the sun never shines;
Wait in this place where the shadows run from themselves.

I know that song, I do. I'm singing it in my head. But I can't remember the damned band and I'm too lazy to google.
It's Cream (Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker) from the "Wheels Of Fire" album.
Once it gets stuck in your head it'll be there for days.
Sorry !
M.
Cheer up you miserable cunt. We're off to Russia!
Tam,
As I said yesterday - ready when you are. Be warned, however, that if you travel to Russia with me you're more likely to end up in a prison cell than a white room.
We'll need to check out the visa situation too : I think there might be a few "funnies" to negotiate.

I never actually knew all the words to that song. Thanks.
And Eva? How could you not know that song?
I love that in the UK you can say cunt freely.
Tam,
....and please stop calling me "cunty" in public. I don't mind in the bedroom but what will these people think ?
Lillian,
That's only the first verse ...it gets better. And you can only really say "cunt" freely amongst friends. If you were to use the word in completely the wrong context (i.e. call someone you don't really know a cunt) they'd smack you in the head !
M.
We love cunt in Britain!
Sorry cunty. Noted.
Yes, but here when I freely say the word cunt amongst friends I still get smacked.
And I'm sure you love every minute of it.
M.
